Sikkim Football Association A Division S League saw an action-packed day as Sikkim Aakraman FC and Sikkim Boys FC secured emphatic victories in their respective matches on Tuesday.
In the first match, Sikkim Aakraman FC overpowered Sang Mustang FC 6-0, with a stellar performance from Ayush Bikram Chettri, who netted a hat-trick [53’, 63’, 76’]. Mayal Dok Lepcha added a brace [45’ & 67’], while Taten Tshering Lepcha sealed the win with a late goal in the 84th minute. Sang Mustang failed to find the back of the net, as Aakraman dominated from start to finish.
The second match saw Sikkim Boys FC defeat Kumar Sporting FC 4-2. Pranit Tamang shone with two early goals [14’ & 42’], while Kailash Tamang [18’] and Kritan Chettri [64’] contributed to the tally. Kumar Sporting put up a fight, with Abinash Sharma scoring in the 58th minute and Tshering Zangpo Tamang adding a late goal in 92nd minute, but Sikkim Boys held their ground to secure a well-earned victory.
