SJAconducts judicial colloquium on Prevention of Human Trafficking


Gangtok, 24 Mar [IPR]:A Judicial colloquium on “Prevention of Human Trafficking” for all Judicial Officers, Public Prosecutorsand District Nodal Officers was held today at the High Court premises in Gangtok.

The colloquim was organized by Sikkim Judicial Academy in collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Chief Justice, High Court of Sikkim, Justice Satish K Agnihotri, along with Judges, High Court of Sikkim, Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai and Justice Bhaskar Raj, attended the inaugural session of the programme.

Director [programme], Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Delhi,Sampurna Behura, Founder Chair of Impulse NGO Network, Shillong, Hasina Kharbhih, and District Child Protection Officer, Social Justice, Empowerment & Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, Roshnila Gurung, were resource persons for the colloquium.
