Gangtok, 27 Mar:
Hanuman Tok Mandir Committee, Gangtok will be celebrating Hanuman Jayanti Puja in a grand manner at Hanuman Tok Mandir in Gangtok on 30 and 31 March. A press release informs that the Hanuman Tok Maha-Avishek will be performed on 30 Mar from 3-5 pm.
On 31 Mar, the Mandir will open for public at 5 AM with distribution of prasad and langar starting from 7 AM and continue till evening.
A host of dignitaries have also been invited to perform the Puja on the day. General Officer Commanding, 17 Mountain Division [Black Cat Division], who is also the chairman of Hanuman Tok Mandir Committee, will be performing the havan at 7.30 pm, the release adds.
Various puja items and worshipped flags will be on sale at Hanuman Tok Complex.
The release further informs that Sikkim Traffic Police will be making traffic arrangements to ease congestion so that devotees do not face any hardships.
There will be Free Ferry Services from 3rd Mile Check Post to the Mandir as well.
Also, the Local Taxi Association has agreed to ply shuttle Taxi Services from Hotel Geetanjali, Children Park Taxi Stand to 3rd Mile check post at Rs 50 per person.
