SKM’s Jan Chetna Yatra reaches West Sikkim
Gangtok, 03 Apr:
On the second day of its ongoing State-wide ‘Jan Chetna Yatra’, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha’s press & publicity and social media cell team visited Kyongsa playground under Gyalshing-Bermiok constituency in West Sikkim today.
In a press release, the party has accused the state government of carelessness in completing the pending playground construction and has demanded immediate handing over of the ground to the local public after completion.
The release further alleges that the government has failed to complete the under construction Buda Nilkand Mandir at Barphok Chandabong since 2006.
It is added that the team visited the mandir and found that local people of the area were disheartened by the poor condition of the temple and the statue. The party has demanded that the government immediately undertake renovation of the temple as well.
The release informs that the team also appointed five persons each from Bermiok-Gyalshing and Maneybong-Dentam constituencies as secretaries of press & publicity and social media cell of the constituency.
