Gangtok, 15 Apr:
Goshir Gyaltsab Rinpoche will lead the prayers and grant blessings (Wang) at Zurmang Lingdum Monastery at Lingdum, Ranka in East Sikkim from 29 April to 14 May.
Lama Karma Kinchuk Tshering of the monastery informs that the Wang ceremony will also be attended by Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche, Bokar Yangsi Rinpoche from Mirik, Ringu Tulku from Germany and Talung Tulku from Bhutan.
“This is for the first time that His Eminence Gylatsab Rinpoche is giving Wang at Lingdum Monastery. It is the happiest moment for us,” Lama Tshering shares.
The monastery committee has also arranged SNT buses to ferry devotees from all the four districts of Sikkim to the monastery.
“We request the people to contact us at 9475388010 for the buses. Also, food and accommodation will be provided to those who come from far flung areas,” the monastery officials add.
They have also expressed gratitude towards the State government for repairing the road from Zero Ranka to the Monastery gate.
