Sikkimese students studying in Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, Dehradun have bagged 04th position in a national level exhibition ‘Navadhara 2K18’ held at Dehradun on 16 and 17 Apr.
Three students of Sikkim namely Dewash Dahal, Shaheel Pradhan and Prawant Lama Tamang had represented Department of Agriculture in the exhibition.
In a brief interaction with the team leader Dewash Dahal, who hails from Namchi South Sikkim, he informed that their model was based on the principle of adsorption and was called ‘Pollution Controller Chimney’.
It was further informed that the project was initiated by Bikash Pradhan, a teacher in Namchi Senior Secondary School.
The project has been highly appreciated by the jury members and the college administration also informed that they are going to patent the Pollution Controller Chimney designed by the students of Sikkim.
