Hamro Sikkim forms declaration committee
Gangtok, 02 May:
A meeting of newly formed Hamro Sikkim Party was held at the residence of Bhaichung Bhutia at Pangthang in East Sikkim on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by former Minister, RB Subba, and discussed the organisational structure of the party and constituted a declaration committee of the party under the convenership of Mr Subba, informs an HSP press release.
The release adds that the meeting also condemned the statement of a Minister that HSP was seeking to defame Sikkim by holding a press conference in New Delhi.
The release alleges that despite being in office for 24 years, the SDF party still cannot accept the existence of opposition parties in the State. On the same, the party stated that the ruling party leaders are scared by revelation of the bad governance in Sikkim at the national level.
