South District Officers Club bids farewell to 10 officers

Namchi, 02 May (IPR):

South District Officers Club (SDOC) organized a grand farewell for the outgoing officials and administrators of South District at SDOC, Namchi, today.

The program also saw former DC (South), Raj Yadav and former SP (South), Dr. Y Shiv Prasad handing over the charges of SDOC president and vice president to the present DC (South), P Verma and SSP (South), S Rai, respectively.

Ten outgoing South district officials were felicitated on the occasion by various departments for their contribution in effective administration and management during their course of tenure in the district.

Former president of SDOC, Raj Yadav was felicitated by executive members of SDOC, children of Mayal Lyang Children’s Home and various other departments of South district for his dynamic vision and farsightedness in running the office which in turn metamorphosed the system of administration in the district. He was lauded for bringing in fresh ideas, his spirited leadership qualities and public acclaim for kick starting a slew of popular initiatives as the collector of South District.

The program also saw cultural performances.
