A short film by Khusboo Sharma, “Boomerang”,has been listed amongst the top final films at the Drishyansa International Mobile Film Competition being held at Kathmandu in Nepal.
Based on menstrual stigma,Boomerang has been selected from out of 600 films from worldwide.
26-year-old Khusboocompleted her schooling from West Point Senior Secondary School and later graduated from Government College, Tadong. She has completed Diploma course in Filmmaking from National Film School, Kathmandu.
“I am happy with the selection and would like thank my parents and all those who supported me in the period of making the film. The film speaks about how in some parts of the world menstruation is still a taboo and girls are subjected to untouchabliity,” says Khusboo.
