SDF coordination meet held in Dzongu


Dzongu, 03 Jun:

A coordination meeting of Sikkim Democratic Front office-bearers was held at Namprikdang in Dzongu, North Sikkim, today.

Deputy Speaker, Sikkim Legislative Assembly, area MLA Sonam Gyatso Lepcha, while addressing the meeting, urged the gathered party officials, including the panchayats, to work for the benefit of the people.

Our commitment to the interest of Dzongu should be unanimous, he said.

He further urged the gathering to work together to strengthen the party and spread the ‘pro-people policies’ of the SDF-led State Government in the constituency.

“SDF party is the only party working for the welfare of the people,” he said.

The Deputy Speaker further highlighted various government programs and policies passed in the recent legislature meeting called by the party president and Chief Minister, Pawan Chamling.

He further called on department officials to complete all the pending work at the earliest.

Highlighting on the demands of road construction in the constituency, the MLA said that the work will be sanctioned phase wise.

General Secretary, Publicity [North], Krishna Lepcha, underlined the party's principles and ideology to the gathering. He further highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the party workers and urged them to be loyal to the party.
