SKM takes out car rally to create awareness on L-T seat reservation issue

Gangtok, 06 Jun:

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has alleged that Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has been trying to mislead people on the Limboo and Tamang seat reservation issue, contending that his “changing statements” on the issue were evidence of this. The party has further alleged that it was the “total failure” of the SDF government due to which the Limboo and Tamang seats have still not been reserved in Sikkim.

An SKM press release further alleges that the State Government was not sincere towards the issue.

The release informs that SKM has started a car rally from West Sikkim to generate wider awareness on the L-T seat reservation issue.

The rally is being led by SKM chief coordinator, Sangha MLA Sonam Lama, and is joined by leaders, youth and members of SKM’s frontal organisations.

The rally was flagged off from Convoy Ground in Gangtok and around 300 vehicles have joined the rally and received a grand welcome at Tashiding today.

The rally concluded today at Singling in West Sikkim.
