Sikkim girl represents India in Int'l Karate C'ship in Bhutan

GANGTOK, 08 Jun:

Babyana Gurung from Sikkim has left for Thimpu, Bhutan, to represent the country in the 4th International Karate Championship, which started on Thursday. She is the only karateka from Sikkim in the 37-member India team to the championship.

Babyana will be representing India in four different events in junior girl’s category of the championship. She is a class XI student of Holy Cross School, Tadong. Sikkim State Karate-Do Association has expressed its best wishes to the karateka for the championship.
