Voice India Kids finalist Shekainah Mukhia in Gangtok to thank supporters

Gangtok, 05 Jul:

The Voice India Kids 2018 finalist, Shekainah Mukhia addressing a press conference at Sambhala Ashram here in Gangtok thanked the people of Sikkim and viewers for their support in her journey.

Shekainah had previously embarked on a tour to Mirik and Darjeeling to thank her viewers and voters.

She is scheduled to go to Dooars, Jaigaon and Bhutan as a part of her ongoing thanksgiving tour.

The 12-year-old is from Dehradun and was among the top six finalists in the singing reality show, The Voice India Kids 2018.

Interacting with the media, Shekainah said that she had not received any professional training prior to her participation in the show.

She is presently training under her father Bikash Mukhia in western music.

“The competition was tough but I gave my best. It was a thrilling experience as I got to meet celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Neha Kakkar, Manish Paul, Baadshah, among others. Musicians like Papon and Himesh Reshamiya always gave me good advice,” she said in the press conference.

She wants to pursue a career in music. I cover all genres of music in Hindi, English and also Nepali, she said.

She is studying in class 6 in a private school at Dehradun.
