M.A. in Education launched at Loyola College

M.A. in Education pragrammewas launchedtoday at Loyola College of Education inNamchi, South Sikkim by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Deputy Director, HRDD,PushpaLall Sharma, who attended the event as chief guest in the presence of Administrator, Loyola College, Fr Patrick Pradhan, Principal, DrSandhyaRai, and Vice Principal, FrDr Francis AV, a press release informs.
“As part of the Silver Jubilee initiatives, a new course is added this year for the educational enrichment of Sikkimese students,” said Vice Principal, Dr Francis.
Loyola College, a Roman Catholic Jesuit College in Sikkim, was established in 1993 by an agreement between the Fathers of the Society of Jesus and the Government of Sikkim. It has trained almost 5000 teachers [Regular and in-service- IGNOU] for the State of Sikkim, West Bengal and other States of India.
