Private sector not employing local youth: BJP
Gangtok, 30 Jul:
BharatiyaJanata Party Sikkim Pradesh has alleged that educated youth of Sikkim have been deprived of suitable jobs as per their qualification in various private industrial units in the State. While criticizing the State Government for the same, the party has threatened to conduct gherao and protest if the industrial units do not start working in the interest of local people.
A BJP press release informs that the party has been receiving complaints regarding the matter and has accused the SDF government of ignoring the issue as it has accepted huge amounts of money from such companies in the name of party fund.
The release further adds that the party has also received a complaint that even after completing all criteria, the Central Referral Hospital management in Gangtok has withheld the promotions of local employees in the hospital since many years. The party has threatened to launch strong protest if the management does not work in the interest of local CRH employees.
