Hee Karate Academy bags runners-up trophy at State c’ship

Hee Karate Academy has bagged six gold, six silver and six bronze medals, clinching the runner-up trophy in the 16th State Karate Championship 2018 held at Indoor Hall inNamchi, South Sikkim from 24-26 Aug. Twenty karatekas from the academy had participated in thechampionship organized by Sikkim State Karate-Do Association, a press release informs.

The gold medalists include MuksamLimboo [6-7 years boys kumite], MeekeHangmaLimboo [16-18 years girls kata], RohitPoudyal [senior men individual kata], Bishnu Kumar Limboo [senior men45 kg kumite], Mingso Hang Limboo[14-15 years boys kumite], and SuyamLimboo, BishalLimboo and Mukum Hang Limboofrom the junior team kata.

Likewise, the silver medalists are Anjali Subba, MeekeHangmaLimboo, RohitPoudyal, OmkerGurung, SrijanaSubba and SuyamLimboo.

Similarly, Dina HangmaSubba, ThungwamukmaSubba, SandipaSubba, Mukum Hang Limboo, BishalLimboo and PhungphonaLimboo of Hee Karate Academy have bagged the bronze medals.

Founder of the academy and coach, BhimBahadurSubba, has expressed satisfaction and pride over the performance of the players in the mega event.
