PNG students excel at ROBOZEST 2018

Gangtok, 04 Sept:

Students of Atal Tinkering Lab ofPaljorNamgyal Girls’ School, Gangtokdelivered an impressive performance at the International Level Robotics Competiton, ROBOZEST 2018, a part of the annual Tech-Fest, ‘Techniche’, held in Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati on 01 Sept, a press release informs.

Two teams from PNG School made it to the grand finale with their made-from-scratch robots which were expected to follow a challenge track autonomously on an open challenge mat.

The robot designed by one of the PNG-ATL teams was declared the winner on the basis of circuit-transparency and elegance in line following.

The teamA members included Class XII Science students of PNG School namely Supriya Sharma,ShristiTamang,Bhumika Sharma and Melody Sunwar.

Likewise, team B memberswho were the finalists included Class XII Science students, SulochanaLamichaney,DarshanaChettri,AratiLohar and Baby Subba.

The students were accompanied by mentor and ATL in charge, Ivan DorjeeLepcha. He has expressed happiness and satisfaction over the results and the hard work of the girls being rewarded.
