NIT-Sikkim students’ indefinite hunger strike enters third day

Gangtok, 07 Sept:

The indefinite hunger strike started by students of National Institute of Technology, Sikkim demanding a permanent campus for the institute has entered its third day.

It is reported that officials from the State or Central Government have not shown any interest on the issue yet.

A press release informs that the health condition of two students has worsened.

Meanwhile, the number of participants in the hunger strike has increased from 12 to 25 out of which four are girls.
