Gangtok’s MYM Prerna branch bags 09 awards at Prantiya Adhiveshan
Gangtok, 19 Sept:
Marwari Yuva Manch Prerna Branch of Gangtok has bagged nine awards at the 10th Prantiya Adhiveshan of Paschim Bengal Sikkim Prantiya Marwari Yuva Manch held in Siliguri on 15-16 Sept.
Marwari Yuva Manch is one of the largest voluntary service organisations in India. Its primary goal is to support young people in contributing to their community and country. Paschim Bengal Sikkim Prant has 62 branches.
Prerna Branch was formed in the year 2016 and since then the branch with its members has been contributing to the society in every possible way.
Marwari Yuva Manch Prerna Branch president, Sunita Sirohia, has been declared Best President for the year 2017-18 while its secretary, Amita Mundra, has been awarded for being Best Secretary of 2017-18.
Likewise, Marwari Yuva Manch Prerna Branch has also been declared as Best Branch [2017-18], Best Monthly Reporting [2017-18], projects undertaken under Nari Chetna Month and participation in Rashtriya Adhiveshan and cultural programme.
Gangtom Prerna Branch president, Ms Sirohia, has also won the speech competition and while secretary, Ms Mundra, was winner of group discussion.
Prior to this at the Rashtriya Adhiveshan, Ms Mundra was also awarded with the National Award for Best Secretary.
