SCA announces Men's U-23 Col. CK Nayudu Trophy trials


Gangtok, 28 Sept:

Sikkim Cricket Association has announced its trials for Men's U-23 Col. CK Nayudu Trophy scheduled to commence on 30 Sept at Mining Cricket Ground in East Sikkim from 9 a.m. onwards.

An SCA press release informs that only players born and brought up in Sikkim and students or employees who are studying or working in Sikkim for more than 2 years are eligible for the trial.

Interested players have been requested to bring both original and photocopy of documents namely Date of Birth Certificate, Address Proof and PAN Card [compulsory]. Player should be born on or after 01/09/1995. Further, all the aforementioned documents should have same Date of Birth.

The SCA has notified that if anyone is found with tampered documents, the player will be banned from playing any tournaments for Sikkim.

For considering a cricketer as a local player on the basis of employment, Employer Certificate along with six months’ salary slip [starting from Aug 2017] is required. Likewise, on the basis of education, abonafide certificate signed by the Principal of the School/College should be made available.Passport Copy/Aadhaar Card [with address and date of issue] will also be requiredfor considering a cricketer as a local player on the basis of residence.
