Cambridge Assessment English, a part of the University of Cambridge, has signed a Letter of Intent [LOI] withSRM University, Sikkim to develop English language skills of the students to enhance their employability, a press release inform.
The LOI was signed by Registrar, SRM Sikkim, ProfessorChSatish Kumar, Deputy Director, Global Network, Liam Vint, andRegional Director [South Asia], Cambridge Assessment English, TK Arunachalam.
Deputy Director, Global Network, MrVint, said, “We are happy to be associated with SRM University, Sikkim and look forward to a very fruitful partnership ahead. We laud their initiative to provide a platform to help students in developing their language and communication skills and gain international certification.”
Registrar, SRM, Professor Kumar, in his address stated, “We are working on the possibility of integrating BEC into our regular curriculum and set up a center of excellence that will benefit the student community in Sikkim.Cambridge English exams can open up a world of study, work or travel opportunities. These high-quality international exams are designed to develop practical English language communication skills for career and study success and extensively researched by one of the world’s largest dedicated language research teams.With a Cambridge English Certificate, the student will be able to prove his/her English language skills to universities, employers and governments around the world.”
