Governor calls on Bihar CM, receives offer for Sikkim guest house at Bodh Gaya

Governor Ganga Prasad called on the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, at his office in Patna on 10 November, an official press communiqué informs.

In the brief interaction, the Bihar CM suggested and offered to provide logistics for building a guest house for Sikkimese pilgrims at Bodhgaya.

Thousands of Sikkimese congregate at Bodhgaya on annual pilgrimages in the months of December and January. The Governor thanked the Bihar CM for his goodwill gesture towards Sikkim and said that such infrastructure would certainly help people-to-people bonding between Sikkim and Bihar.
