SKM criticises CM for no show at felicitation by adhoc teachers and temp employees

Gangtok, 12 Nov:

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has contended that the absence of Chief Minister from his own felicitation programme organised by adhoc teachers and temporary employees of Sikkim at Saramsa Garden on Sunday was a dishonour of the adhoc teachers and employees.

The party has argued that not to attend the programme after having accepted the invitation was very unfortunate and disrespectful towards adhoc teachers and employees.

An SKM press release, quoting sources, mentions that representatives of adhoc teachers and employees organisation had met the CM at Mintokgang in the evening and were informed that the CM was unwell and could not make it to the programme.

On the same, the party questioned why the organisation was not informed about it and how the CM was busy the whole day with a joining programme at Mintokgang.

The release states that the CM has been making false promises to adhoc employees about regularization but has not been working in their interest since the election.
