CM reaches out to public through SMS

Gangtok, 21 Nov:

Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today thanked members of the public who sent their phone numbers to him through his Facebook page. In a bid to reach out to the public, on 15 Nov the Chief Minister had asked people to send him their phone numbers on Facebook to receive ‘personal SMSs’ from him.

“I would like to inform you that you will be receiving personal SMSs from me. The sender will be VK-CMSKPC (CMSKPC- is the abbreviation for CM Sikkim, Pawan Chamling). In fact, messages have already been sent on the occasion of Diwali and Children’s Day,” the CM wrote on his Facebook page.

In his message today, the CM writes, “The response has been tremendous; and I express my sincere regrets on not being able to thank you individually due to time constraints. Every number has been recorded and I look forward to keeping in touch with you. Please remember that each and every one of you is dear to me and close to my heart. My concern and support towards the well-being of every citizen is unwavering and constant. I am there for you at all times!”
