Day-3 of SKM’s Youth & Women Convention lashes out against SDF and its Govt
Gangtok, 20 Dec:
The ongoing Youth and Women convention of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha at Rolu in South Sikkim entered into its third day on Thursday with SKM president PS Tamang [Golay] as the chief guest accompanied by senior leaders and workers of the party.
An SKM press release informs that senior vice-president, TN Dhakal, delivered a talk on the political history of Sikkim and also spoke about the pertinent issues of the State and alleged failure of the government on several counts.
SKM general secretary [organisation], South District, Pavitra Manav, in turn, stressed on the importance of strengthening party organisation while vice-president [press & publicity], Birendra Tamling, and general secretary [social media], Navraj Gurung, spoke on matters under their respective jurisdictions.
Likewise, former Registrar of ICFAI University Sonam Tshering Bhutia, who was present as a resource person, spoke on the topic, ‘Democracy of Sikkim is in danger.’
Former MP, Nakul Das Rai, lashed out against the Sikkim Democratic Front and its government on various issues.
The third day of the programme ended with the distribution of prizes and cultural presentations.
