Salaries of 20000 new employees not opposition’s headache: CM

Gangtok, 14 Jan:

Chief Minister PawanChamling today said that the opposition need not worry abouthow the State government will provide salaries to 20,000 employees appointment under ‘One Family, One Job’ scheme.

“Opposition parties should not take headache on this issue. I have the rich experience after serving as the CM for 24 years for now and I will arrange salaries for these employees,” said the CM during the inauguration of the multispecialty hospital at Socheygang.

On the same, he stated that the SDF government has always been providing salaries, promotions and increments to government employees on time.

“I have never interfered in the work of the police and bureaucrats but always gave them the protection and respect,” he said.

While mentioning that there should not be politics on every issue, the CM alleged that opposition parties have been playing politics on every issue to bring destruction in Sikkim. He stressed that there is no need for the government employees to get upset with the government as the SDF government has done its best in the interest of every employee of the State.
