Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of CRPF soldiers martyred in a terrorist attack at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir.
He also announced that the Sikkim Government would sponsor the education of the children of all the martyrs of this terrorist attack if the Government of India allows it to.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory function of the three-day annual meet of Sikkim Against Addiction Towards Healthy India [SAATHI] at Saramsa in East Sikkim today.
On the behalf of the people of Sikkim, the CM strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on CRPF and further expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He also paid rich tribute to all martyrs.
