Research scholars from School for International Training, Development and Social Change, Kathmandu, Nepal paid a visit to Lingi Payong Secondary School on Thursday, a press release informs. They were led by Ward Panchayat and SMC Vice Chairperson, Kailash Kumar Adhikari. An ice breaking session of rock-paper-scissors game was held among students, teachers and the visiting guests.
The scholars also interacted with students and teachers and discussed about farming practices and agricultural system in Sikkim and USA.
"The students were very responsive and we really enjoyed interacting with them," said Academic Director, SIT,Suman Pant. The team of scholars are on a visit to Sikkim as part of their study, the release mentions.
