Heavenly Path Organization launches dharna, demands Guru to be allowed into Sikkim
Gangtok, 25 Feb:
Members of Heavenly Path Organization [HPO] launched their dharna here in front of the District Administration Centre [East] today demanding that Master God Angel, Om Nanda, be allowed to visit Sikkim.
The organization has also made a serious allegation that AkhilKiratRaiSangh, Sikkim, is behind the restrictions imposed on the entry of Master God Angel in Sikkim. The first day of the dharna witnessed the participation of more than 200 followers of Master God Angel. The dharna started with the singing of the national anthem.
Speaking to media persons today, Vyasanand Guru of HPO mentioned that the organization has submitted numerous memorandums to the State government to allow their religious leader to visit Sikkim but the government has turned them down citing a Supreme Court case.
The dharna will continue until the government allows their religious leader to visit Sikkim, he stated. Mentioning that there are more than 70,000 followers of Om Nanda Guru in Sikkim, he alleged that the government is to be held responsible for HPO followers not being able to meet their religious leader.
