RB Subba condemns posters claiming misunderstanding with his namesake

Gangtok, 14 Mar:

Former Minister Ran Bahadur Subba [Leewang], who had recently returned to the SDF fold, has registered his strong condemnation of the postering reported from Soreng-Chakung constituency last night claiming misunderstandings between him and the HRDD Minister, his namesake, RB Subba [Khewa].

He alleged that the posters were the handiwork of SKM which was indulging in politics of misinformation, rumours and propaganda. Photographs of these posters were also mischievously circulated on social media platforms today, he says.

In a press release, the former Minister mentioned that Limboo people of West Sikkim have always been living in the unity.

“We may have had some political differences earlier, but now we both are together under the flag of the same party. I would also like to inform the people of Sikkim that we have a joint commitment to ensure the victory of SDF in the elections to safeguard the future of Sikkim and its people,” Mr Subba adds in his press communiqué while addressing the claims made in the posters.

The release adds that except for a few, all opposition parties are being managed by masters from outside and feudal remnants in the State. The main intension of these “forces” was to divide SDF and smuggle themselves into power to rule over the people of Sikkim.

Mr Subba has demanded proper police investigation into the incident to find out who uploaded the posters on social media.
