SDF condemns allegations of involvement in CSDS survey

Gangtok, 17 Apr:

Sikkim Democratic Front has condemned and refuted all allegations of involvement in the post poll survey conducted by Centre for the Study of Developing Societies [CSDS].

In a press release, the party has said that the survey is highly objectionable and violates the rules of the Model Code of Conduct. The party has also appealed to the State Election Commission to immediately stop the said survey in the interest of free, fair and peaceful election process.

SDF has also requested the law enforcement agencies to inquire into the matter and submit a comprehensive report which could be made open to the public.

The party has also condemned the use of “abusive and unparliamentary” words against Chief Minister, Pawan Chamling on social media.
