Governor in Delhi for swearing-in of PM Modi
Gangtok, 29 May:
Governor of Sikkim, Ganga Prasad called on Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh at his residence at Akbar Road, New Delhi this evening, a press release informs.
It was a courtesy call by the Governor wherein he extended his greetings and congratulated the Union Minister for historic mandate achieved by the Bharatiya Janata Party and National Democratic Alliance led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in the recently concluded General Elections 2019.
The Governor is in Delhi on invitation from Rashtrapati Bhavan to attend the Swearing in Ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Council of Ministers for second consecutive time scheduled for Thursday evening at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
It may be mentioned that Sikkim Krantikari Morcha president and Chief Minister, PS Tamang [Golay], Lok Sabha MP, Indra Hang Subba, Political Secretary to CM, Jacob Khaling and Confidential Assistant to CM, Bikash Basnett are also in Delhi for the swearing-in.
