SC adjourns SDF petition challenging Golay’s appointment

Gangtok, 30 Jul:

The Supreme Court today granted three weeks’ time as prayed by the State Government in the matter of thewrit petition filed by Sikkim Democratic Front’s BimalDawarichallenging the appointment of Prem Singh Tamang as Chief Minister.

While hearing the plea on adjournment motion of the State Government for three weeks, the three judge bench headed by Chief Justice of India,RanjanGogoi, Justices Deepak Gupta and Aniruddha Bose granted three weeks time as prayed by the State government and directed the registry to list the matter after three weeks.
