Sikkim Student Association Delhi welcomes freshers, elects new exec body

Gangtok, 23 Sept:

Sikkim Student Association Delhi organised a freshers’ party at New Sikkim House for the new students from Sikkim studying in Delhi-NCR.

This party had Additional Secretary, Finance Department, Kapil Meena, as the chief guest accompanied by SSAD advisor Sunil Pradhan who is currently teaching at Jamia Millia Islamia

Ngawang Choden and Aabishkar Thatal were declared as Ms and Mr Fresher respectively.

SSAD also felicitated two students of Sikkim who have won college elections - Raman Mohra the President of St Stephens College and Zigme Gurung, the Joint Secretary of Ramjas College.

New executive board members were also elected on the day:

President - Rinchen Dolkar Nadikpa; Vice President-Chewang Norbu Denzongpa; General Secretary-Zuben Sherpa; Joint Secretary - Topden Tashi; Cultural Secretary - Pem Uzeyla Bhutia; Treasurer- Pema Chuked; Sports Secretary -Sangay Tenzing Sherpa; North Executive -Wangchuk Tseten Tonyot; South Executive -Sagar Neopaney; East Executive -Kalden Dorjee Wangyal; West Executive -Nawraj Gurung; Hostel Executive -Albert Gurung.
