Mount Himalayan & Spa has laid out a sumptuous spread in “Dawat-e-Sikkim,” a three-day food festival which got underway today organized in association with Mitho and Kingfisher here at the Link Restro & Bar at MP Golai, Tadong.
The feast has tabled specialities like Awadhi Murgh Dum Pulao, Nawabi Shahi Paneer, Lasooni Murgh Kebab and Bhatti Ki Murgh along with a variety of other Indian and Nepali cuisine.
The festival also includes a live acoustic musical session by Sharad from Siliguri on Friday and Ayan Das on Saturday evening.
Speaking to media persons this evening, Mount Himalayan & Spa CEO, Sachin Agarwal, shared that the festival has received a very encouraging response from the people and the weekend crowd is expected to be even stronger.
“We are organising this food festival for the first time and our primary aim is to provide the best Indian and tandoori cuisine to our patrons. This is also to introduce our new restaurant - Link Restro & Bar which offers authentic Nepali, continental, Chinese and Indian cuisines,” he said.
