Gangtok, 20 Oct:
Football Players Association of Sikkim [FPAS] has signed an MoU with Football Players Association of India [FPAI] agreeing to work together for the betterment of Indian football and Sikkim football and its players in particular.
FPAI is the apex national body of football players of the country and had written to FPAS on 18 Oct recognizing it.
The MoU was signed by Cyrus Confectioner, general manager, FPAI, and FPAS president, Nirmal Chettri.
“This is a great achievement for FPAS. We thank the FPAI for the recognition. Our primary aims & objectives are to work together for the betterment of the players & Sikkim Football,” said Nirmal Chettri while announcing this development.
The FPAI, which is a member FIFPro World 11, the world players union formed in the year 2006.
