Sikkim Pentecostal Churches Council meets

Gangtok, 08 Dec:

Sikkim Pentecostal Churches Council [SPCC] convened an executive committee meeting at Bethsaida Christian Church at Sawney Singtam in East Sikkim on Saturday.

The meeting started with an invocation prayer by Rev Eliya Pratap Rai followed by welcome speech by SPCS secretary Pastor Basant Gazmer.

In his address, the Council president, Rev Deo Simile Gurung, urged members of the executive committee to work effectively on the objectives of the council and urged them to always work for the needy churches in different matters.

He informed that there were more than 700 Pentecostal Churches in the State and all churches need to stay united and stressed that the Council will always stand with the Pentecostal Churches of Sikkim.

Rev Gurung informed that SPCC was preparing for the Pentecostal Churches Summit 2020 in which the council will also felicitate the founder of SPCC and senior pastors of Pentecostal Churches.

The meeting was also addressed by SPCC chief advisor Rev SK Bharat Rai and concluded with benediction prayer by Pastor NB Stephen Chettri.
