Governor attends Banaras Chaurasia Samaj event

Governor Ganga Prasad attended the 8th Samellan, Parichay Samaroh and Samuhik Vivah held at Chaukaghat, Varanasi, by Banaras Chaurasia Samaj today, a press release from Raj Bhawan informs.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor congratulated Banaras Chaurasia Samaj for organizing the remarkable Samuhik Vivah [mass wedding].

The Governor pitched for unity and teamwork for the development of society.

He said, “Unity and teamwork are very important for the development of society and nation. It is important for all of us to unite when it comes to development of the nation.”

He remembered the leaders of India and mentioned their struggles and dedication in bringing progress and development to the country.

The programme was attended by former legislators of Uttar Pradesh Assembly, journalist Deepak Chaurasia, members of Banaras Chaurasia Samaj and local gentry.
