“Young children enjoyed all activities with showed much interest and excitement. They especially loved camping in the forest. Although the fest was very short, we found that these activities helped boost the confidence levels of students who participated,” Mr Sherpa said.
He stressed that continuation of such activities would be very helpful for children to stay healthy and fit and ensure emergency preparedness. He urged parents to encourage children to participate in such adventure activities.
“We would like to invite all stakeholders of adventure tourism to organise this festival on a grander scale from next year onwards,” he said.
