BJP welcomes economic relief package, wants State Govt to ensure proper implementation

Gangtok, 26 Mar:

Bharatiya Janata Party, Sikkim, has welcomed the relief package of Rs 1,70,000 crore announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to help the underprivileged in the nation’s battle against Coronavirus, and has suggested that the State Government to establish a transparent mechanism for the implementation of the schemes and benefits that the financial package envisages for the poor.

A BJP-Sikkim press release issued by its spokesperson Raju Giri hails this package as historic and states that BJP will stay vigilant to ensure that the real beneficiaries are reached.

BJP Sikkim has also urged all BJP workers to contribute towards the implementation of the said schemes and make “historic poor-oriented scheme” a success.
