Contact established with 10 of the 12 from Sikim on board the same flight as Kalimpong's COVID-1
GANGTOK, March 30: State Health Department today clarifies the all 12 co-passengers those where were travelled with the lady who had scrumbled due to nCoV-19 in North Bengal Hospital at Siliguri early morning today, 10 persons have been traced and send to the facilitated quarantine at District Hospital, at Gyalshing today. SDM Soreng, Himmat Rai confirmed this correspondence of All India Radio Gangtok, that those who were from Tikpur, Sombaria, west Sikkim were under the health survillance and kept under house quarantine were taken to the hospital today. He further said that the girl child of a couple from Tikpur were living together since their return were also send for medical treatment and kept under facilitated quarantine. Earlier in the morning, DG, Health Services, Government of Sikkim has told that two persons are yet to be located as their contact number were not connected. Speaking to media, director General of Health Services, Dr. Pampa T Bhutia, rescue and operation team from west district have been deployed and once they have been traced, will send them to facilitated quarantine till their medical examinations and test are over. He said that the samples of 10 persons will send to the Testing centre by tomorrow morning and till then they have been housed under facilitated quarantine.
