Bright Academy Punjabi Para celebrates Grandparents’ Day

Gangtok, 12 Sept:

Bright Academy Punjabi Para amidst the Global pandemic celebrated Grandparents’ Day through the virtual classes today. The programme was celebrated to honour the Grandparents. The programme began with the Opening Speech of Principal, Sandeep Ghosal. The Teachers than presented a Dance video on the song “Ganesh Vandana".

The tiny tots also coloured the Grandparents’ Day worksheets which great enjoyment. Next the icing on the cake was the Dance and song performed by the students as well as their grandparents which showcased the special bond between them. After the performance the teachers: Pampa Chakraborty, Priyanka Barua, Jhuma Barua and Vashuda Agarwal gave their speech of thanks. There was a Rapid fire Quiz contest in which all the Grandparents took part enthusiastically and enjoyed.

In the last half of the programme, videos of Grandparents and children were shared which showed some mesmerizing moments.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks from our senior teacher, Pampa Chakraborty. Overall the success of the virtual event was evident through the joyful smiles of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.
