SAATHI life-skills training for fourth batch of students

A three-day online training on life-skills was organized by SAATHI for students from seven schools of the State, a press release informs.
The training was held from 17-19 September and was attended by students from Mangshila Sr. Sec. School, Kalzang Gyatso Sr. Sec. School(Kabi), Kewzing Sr. Sec. School(Sreebadam), Dentam Sr. Sec. School, Kitam Sr. Sec. School. Enchey Sr. Sec. School and Middle Geyzing Sec. School.
The objective of this camp was to provide knowledge about various life-skills required on everyday basis, the release explains.
The sessions covered were career guidance by Dr. Satyadeep S. Chhetri, Associate Professor, N.B. Bhandari Govt. Degree College and Interpersonal Relationship & Teamwork by Ms. Roshni Chhetri, Research Scholar & Counselling Psychologist. Coping with emotion and stress by Mr. Pragyan Dewan, Counselling Psychologist and Communication Skills & Time Management by Mr. Manorath Dahal, Professor, HoD(Dept. of Social Science), SCERT. Awareness & usage of social media by Mrs. Pragya Parameeta, Advocate, Co-founder of Accelerator & Eastern Himalayan News Services and Mr. Prashant Sharma, Coordinator, Sikkim Drug Users Forum had shared his life experience with the students.
