Pelling Tourism Development Association (PTDA) gets new executive body

The Pelling Tourism Development Association (PTDA) elected its new executive body with Narayan Khatiwada as the President. The new executive body having PHE Minister and area MLA, Bhim Hang Subba as Chief Patron and has SIDICO Chairman, Janak Gurung and DC-west as Patrons, Rnzing Yongda Bhutia and Bijay Tamang as Vice Presidents and Puran Kharka and Gopi Karki as the General Secretaries among others.

The new executive body held an Annual general meeting recently which was chaired by SIDICO Chairman, Janak Gurung at Pelling school auditorium in Pelling on 26 September discussed various tourism related issues. Deliberations held on unlock 5.0 and reopening of tourism in the state. They informed that the PTDA will issue their views by tomorrow on reopening of tourism in the West Sikkim after the through discussion with the local tourism stakeholders.

Pelling Tourism Development Association (PTDA) is a largest tourism stakeholders association of west district of Sikkim and is also the umbrella organisation of tourism stakeholders in west Sikkim including Pelling being a most visited tourist destination in West District of Sikkim.

The PTDA is scheduled to announce their opinion concerning on decisions in reopening of tourism in West Sikkim tomorrow, is informed by the PTDA.
