Siliguri, 09 OCT:

The Governor of West Bengal, Mr Jagdeep Dhankhar visited the family of martyred Bipul Roy of Bindipara, Alipurduar District, who sacrificed his life for our country at Galwan Valley today along with Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, Army Commander Eastern Command and Mrs. Anupama Chauhan,

After the visit from Alipurduwar the press conference was held at State Guest House Siliguri in which the Governor of West Bengal Mr Dhankhar stated that the LAW and ORDER in Bengal is very alarming, criticizing the CM of West Bengal he added that the Mamata Banerjee Government is totally failed.

Further he added that the administration of West Bengal is not neutral but , 'I want to appeal the administration to be politically neutral'.

He also said that when the funds for the farmers are coming from the Central government then why is the farmers not receiving the amount directly in their bank accounts. And I am very much disheartened because today during my visit to the martyr soldier family who sacrificed their life for our country, no one from the State government was present there . And I am very much shocked by that kind of behavior and when it comes to the safety of the women in West Bengal its at its worst , the state government should work on this very much .

And he assures that in the upcoming election of West Bengal in 2021 , that it will be transparent , peaceful and violence free.

During the conference he mentioned that the family of the martyr recived 11 lakhs cheque from the Raj Bhawan and also said that will always be there for the any kind of help to the family".
