Amar Subba leads students to“The Buddha Trails Sandakphu

Gangtok, 01 Apr: Long distance runners from Sikkim left for the second edition of a trail-running challenge, ‘The Buddha Trails 2021,’ to be held on 03 April along the popular Sandakphu trail on the
Indo-Nepal border in Darjeeling. The Buddha Trails 2021 is part of a trail series organised by The
Hell Race, an organisation approved by the International Trail Running Association. This trial running will
start from Rimbick Bazar and then follow the route on Shrikhola, Gurdum, Sandakphu, Phalut, Samanden, Ramam, Shrikhola Bridge and will end back at Rimbick Bazar. There are three categories
- 65 km, 30 km and 10 km. Apart from other participants from Sikkim, a team of students of Amar
"Marathong Man" Subba also left for Rimbick today to participate in the challenge. It is informed that
team members will participate in the 65 km and 30 km segments of the race. Mr Subba has thanked
Mangala Limboo of Singpheng West Sikkim and Jagadamba Enterprises, Gangtok for supporting his students in the event
