Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program at Tintek

Mangan, 06 Apr: A colourful program regarding “Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao” was organised at

Rakdong Tintek BAC in East Sikkim today. The function was attended by BDO Tintek, Tshering Norgyal Theeng as chief guest in the presence of Panchayat Inspector, Resource Person /Nodal officer, Hemlata Sharma, Panchayat Lower Rakdong ward. Girl students from standard 4th and 5th from different schools

attended the program. AEO Education Department, BR Rai delivered the welcome speech. Various

events like drawing competition, essay, debate and extempore were conducted. The chief guest addressed the gathering on the theme of the program. The function concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes and vote of thanks delivered by Newa Chetan Sherpa.
