CM begins three-day tourof Poklok-Kamrang

Gangtok, 13 Jan: Chief Minister PS Tamang began his interactive tour of his constituency, Poklok-Kamrang, from Assangthang Helipad today, meeting the public of three GPUs, namely Assangthang,

Damthang and Sorok Sampani. He was accompanied by Secretaries, HoDs and other dignitaries

along with party workers. The CM met the panchayats along with party workers of all three GPUs and listened to their demands and grievances. He then met and listened to the public of the three GPUs.

The CM handed over 18 wheelchairs to the elderly, printers to SHGs and agricultural loans to

the public. Also today, 12 jhora-training work orders of Rs 6 lakh each through Water Resources Department were handed over to the youth of the constituency. In its 25 years of government

SDF has done nothing in this constituency and there are still lots of problem here which have to be solved, he said. “The main problem is that of water supply shortage which we will solve anyhow. It

was one of the points in our election manifesto,” said the CM. It is informed that he will interact with

the public of another three GPUs - Salghari, Tinik Chisopani and Poklok - Denchung – on Thursday at Nandugaon BAC, followed by Sikkip BAC
