CM holds coordination meeting with panchayats and youth from Dzongu

Gangtok, 03 Feb: Chief Minister PS Tamang held a coordination meeting with the Panchayats,
Zilla Panchayats, former panchayat members, and youth from Dzongu constituency, North
Sikkim, at Samman Bhawan here on Wednesday. In a Facebook post about the meeting, the
CM informs that he assured the gathering that the State Government believes in the overall development of Sikkim and will not discriminate on any basis. “I added that we have diligently worked for Dzongu and the residents when required and will always be willing to do the same in future. I updated
them on the work and schemes that have been carried out in the last 20 months, including the restoration of scholarship for students from Dzongu,” he writes. The CM also expressed his satisfaction
with the work and dedication shown by Dzongu MLA, Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, was also present
for the meeting, and encouraged him to carry on in the same spirit. Also in attendance was
the North Upadhyaksha. “Towards the end, I urged everyone to collectively work towards
the development of the area and the State and contribute to the process of growth and improvement,”
