CM inaugurates Sapta Kanya Kalika Devi Mandir
Namchi, 11 Mar (IPR): Chief Minister PS Tamang inaugurated 'Sapta Kanya Kalika Devi Mandir' at Upper Yangang today. He was accompanied by his spouse, Krishna Kumari Rai, Minister Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, BS Panth, Minister for Energy and Power and Labour Department, MN Sherpa, dignitaries and devotees at large. The Chief Minister along with other dignitaries visited
the mandir and offered their prayers for the well-being of the state. Chief Patron Puran committee cum Confidential Secretary, Bikash Basnett presented the history about the mandir and spoke about the great religious significance that this mandir holds particularly in Yangang. He also added that eleven days Shri Shri Shiva Maha Puran was also organized at the mandir focusing on spiritual matter. Prakash Chettri shared the technical report of the mandir wherein he informed about the total
build area and other integrated spaces such as prayer hall, walkway, office area, courtyard, parking space and more. The CM and his spouse Krishna Kumari Rai attended the concluding day of the Shri Shri Shiva Maha Puran. Moreover, they were also felicitated by the organising committee of the puran for their relentless support in uplifting the state.
